  • Account Executive

    Clearstream.TV is expanding our sales organization across the United States! To support our growth, we are recruiting an Account Executive in several key locations (New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco).

    We are looking for a qualified Account Executive to grow existing business, secure new business, and accelerate the adoption of the Clearstream Platform among agencies and brands within an assigned territory of top tier agencies and Fortune 100 advertisers. This is a high-growth, client facing, consultative sales role requiring deep industry expertise and a proven track record for driving revenue while developing, negotiating and structuring long-term relationships with clients. An ideal candidate is well-connected to key decision makers across all levels at both agencies and brands across various industries, has in-depth experience and a proven track record in online and/or broadcast advertising sales.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Evangelize and articulate the unique value proposition of the Clearstream Platform to assigned media buying/planning agencies and direct clients
    • Strategize and generate revenue from assigned agencies and account assignments through sales calls and sales presentations
    • Develop account strategies to secure long-term media and platform relationships, develop requests for proposal responses and drive upfront media buying in a way that drives ROI while delivering against client business needs & objectives
    • Grow and cultivate deep relationships at all levels within assigned accounts, demonstrating a thorough understanding of account’s organization, needs and revenue potential
    • Meet and exceed quarterly/annual sales and margin goals against assigned agency/account list
    • Utilize Salesforce to consistently and accurately record sales activity, deal pipeline and forecast revenue
    • Proactively provide client research, industry specific information and become the go-to subject matter expert in the digital and mobile video advertising space
    Requirements:
    • BA/BS or College Diploma (Marketing/Advertising preferred)
    • 2-3+ years of experience in online advertising, mobile advertising sales and/or broadcast advertising sales
    • Demonstrated track record of delivering against quota and exceling in a highly competitive market
    • Exceptional communication, presentation and relationship building skills
    • Excellent knowledge of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
    • Ability to think strategically, strong understanding of traditional and contemporary marketing dynamics, tactics and strategies
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Salesforce.com or equivalent)
    • Ability to work autonomously
    Preferred Experience:
    • Experience in video (buy or sell side) ideal
    • Existing and current relationships with key decision makers at all levels of influence within the West Coast agency market
    • Demonstrated track record of delivering against quota and exceling in a highly competitive market
    • Excellent knowledge of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
    • Active in industry trade and networking events

    We’re looking for a superstar Account Manager for a sales support role that assists our Account Executives in the U.S. through each step of the online video sales process. Account Managers will interface regularly with agency contacts, providing the best customer service in the industry, while also working with internal teams to ensure the deal points of each campaign are fully communicated and are being met. This is a full-time role based out of our Chicago office and an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in digital video advertising in Chicago!

    Responsibilities:
    • Work closely with sales team to create custom online video proposals meeting the advertiser’s objectives.
    • Interface internally with Media, Research and AdOps teams to communicate and seek approval on proposal details (via SalesForce).
    • Internally communicate to Media, Research and AdOps all relevant campaign deal points once an IO is received (via SalesForce).
    • Campaign management (processing orders, gathering creative, booking inventory, monitoring 3rd party delivery, proactive optimization for delivery and performance, reporting delivery for billings, managing day-to-day issues).
    • Coordinate the collection of all assets from the agency; work closely with AdOps team to ensure all assets are in house and functioning properly.
    • Regularly monitor campaign’s success and provide optimization feedback to agencies as necessary.
    • Serve as the first point of contact for most agency requests regarding all live campaigns.
    • Provide agencies with post-campaign services (comprehensive re-caps of campaigns, making recommendations for future campaigns, providing further data and information to the client/agency).
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
    • 1-2 years in advertising industry (past agency/publisher/media/etc.) preferred.
    • Past account management experience preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to understand internal and external needs.
    • Ability to multi-task without allowing performance to suffer.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport and trust while super-serving our agency partners.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
    • Positive attitude and desire to work in an entrepreneurial, innovative environment.
